2nd Annual Battle of the Bands

Railroad Park (Village Green Park)

Six bands, consisting of Yarmouth High School students and graduates will battle to win the judges' votes. Each band will perform for a half hour, covering the music of their chosen band (Chromeo, Kings of Leon, Radiohead, Indigo Girls, Eve 6, and Wilco). Judging criteria will include preparation, originality, authenticity, individual and group performance quality and presentation, and audience engagement. The winning cover band will get a paid gig as the Clam Festival's closing act, Sunday, July 19, 2:00 - 3:00 pm on the Merrill Memorial Library lawn.

Clam Festival Canoe and Kayak Race

The race starts at Yarmouth Town Landing and goes down river, around Lanes Island, and up Cousins River to finish at the Muddy Rudder (approx. 6 miles). Race day registration begins at 5:45 am at Yarmouth Town Landing.
